WTF are you doing?!!

Posted by Anthony Lawrence on

Its the back end of 2022 and we are starting to see a trend of people gearing down for the rest of the year.

THERE ARE 5 WEEKS LEFT!

Why is anyone gearing down? If a professional athlete was to give up in the final stages of competition it would be frowned upon, disappointing and even annoying!

Athletes that are winning by a country mile do not slow down until the final buzzer sounds. They are all in until the end of the game!

The fighter in the 12th round, the runner on the home stretch, the rugby team with the last set of 6; they all go the distance until the end of the game is declared. This should be our example!

We don't want to be overly harsh here, but most people haven't achieved their goals from the start of the year, let alone the right to take the rest of the year off.

WE SIMPLY HAVEN'T EARNED IT!

If you have smashed all of your goals for 2022 then forget this email and go about your day, however if you haven't and you can be honest by looking at your achievements this year and acknowledge that you aren't happy with your effort then stay with us.

Our goal is not to guilt or shame you here, its to keep you accountable to yourself and your goals, and hopefully motivate you. It is common for people to fall into the trap of getting complacent, giving up and or being led down the path of no results.

We are social people at the end of the day, and we generally want to go with the crowd and be a part of the fun when it is being had. This is the beginning of the end. And it is a behaviour we need to acknowledge.

We aren't saying to isolate yourself from your family and friends and train the house down while you exclude yourself from Christmas Dinner, but rather to not forget the pledge you made to yourself to be leaner, fitter and healthier.

5 Weeks is a decent amount of time to make get great shift in body composition, health and fitness.

We remind you to make the most of the next few weeks. Don't forget about taking care of yourself in the mix of the Christmas chaos.

Lots of love, Team Suppreme!
